TOK is not an inconvenient adjunct that you have to shoehorn into an already full timetable, and staff with reluctant teachers who have been forcibly volunteered.

It’s the most iconic course within the DP, the element that most distinguishes it from all other high school programmes, and the training ground to make your students must-have university candidates. It’s the tool that enables you to deliver an integrated educational experience, the conduit between the classroom and the real-world, and the space in which to introduce your students to genuinely life-changing ideas and thinkers.

TOK will identify and challenge the assumptions and biases of your students, and help them to become authentic critical thinkers, able to navigate the online and actual worlds objectively and accurately.

So rather relegate TOK to the fringe sections of your website, it should be placed front and centre as you promote your school, celebrated for the fantastic cognitive journey it offers both learners and educators, and regarded as one of your key assets when you market your brilliance to potential and existing parents.
