Exploring TOK

The exploring TOK padlets enable you to delve more deeply into the core and optional themes, and the AOKs, via the latest real-world events and issues.

Use the padlets to construct new TOK lessons, augment our three different course structures, or provide students with material for the exhibition and essay. They can be used by either specialist TOK teachers, or other DP educators.

The Exploring TOK padlets are one of our key resources to help students take ownership of the course, give teachers the flexibility to create their own TOK lessons, and help learners to become authentic critical thinkers.

Download a sample version of the exploring history padlet here. It showcases our learning should happen in the real-world and how TOK can be used to help make sense of issues and events.

Make your TOK course genuinely life-changing

Our workshops demonstrate to all teachers – whatever their level, programme, or specialisation – how they can develop authentic critical thinking.

They’re engaging, jargon-free, and authoritative, and give teachers practical takeaways they can apply in the classroom, and help their students become nuanced, discerning knowers. Find out more here, and read our workshop brochure here.
