N25 TOK Essay Webinar

Our biannual essay webinar, which we ran on 27 March, discussed the challenges and opportunities of the titles, key terms and concepts, the challenges of AI, and how to support students as they begin writing.

Tickets provides you with the webinar debrief which gives you a link to the video recording, the webinar presentation, and our responses to dozens of FAQs. Choose either the single or group educator tickets depending on whether you’ll be sharing the webinar with other viewers.

The N25 webinar debrief

The webinar discussed in detail the six November 2025 prescribed TOK essay titles, and how to help your students unpack them. We looked at key words and terms in all the PTs, challenges and difficulties the titles present, key concepts and thinkers they relate to, and possible approaches to planning and writing the essay, whilst very much encouraging students to create their own personalised final product.

We also discussed the use of AI-tools when it comes to the essay, offering our 8 rules for using AI effectively and ethically. Finally, we considered other aspects of overseeing the essay to make your students feel supported and empowered by the process of creating their assessment.
