The M26 webinar debrief
The webinar discussed the six May 2026 prescribed TOK essay titles, and how to help your students unpack them. We looked at key words and terms in all the PTs, challenges and difficulties the titles present, key concepts and thinkers they relate to, and possible approaches to planning and writing the essay, whilst very much encouraging students to create their own personalised final product.
We discussed the use of AI-tools when it comes to the essay, offering our 8 rules for using AI effectively and ethically. Finally, we considered other aspects of overseeing the essay, to make your students feel supported and empowered by the process of creating their assessment.
