Alice is responsible for all our marketing and communications, both to our members and to external organisations. She has travelled extensively and moved from the UK to Germany in 2015. She had the privilege of teaching English as a foregin language to children in Nepal for 6 months and developed the utmost respect for people who choose teaching as a profession! Alice has had two daughters since moving to Germany and feels passionately about education; understanding the many challenges of raising children in a different country and native language. As a non-native in Germany, Alice’s friends are predominantly international school teachers, which enables her to get a good insight into the challenges faced by teachers.
Prior to joining theoryofknowledge.net, Alice spent 10 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, working for large multinational organisations in various strategy, marketing and communications roles. She also spent time working in London for a healthcare PR communications agency supporting the implementation of global PR plans for clients such as Danone, Merck Serono and Pfizer.
