Online TOK courses

Whether you are a new or experienced teacher of TOK, or a DP teacher who isn’t directly involved in the course, our online courses will build your knowledge and skills, and help you gain massive fulfilment as you explore TOK ideas and concepts.

Because our courses are designed and delivered by experienced classroom teachers, they are highly interactive, clear, and jargon-free, and offer participants practical takeaways that can be used effectively in lessons.

Getting started with TOK course

Outline: Starting out as a TOK teacher is a daunting task. What exactly am I teaching? How do I support my students with the assessment tasks when I’m not quite sure of them myself? How do I design engaging lessons that matter? What should I be doing to promote TOK throughout the school? We’ll answer all these questions and more in this reassuring, inspiring, and practical workshop.

Dates: In 2022 – 8 & 15 September. In 2023 – 23 February & 3 March. Cost: $225 per person. Workshop length: 2 x 120 minutes. Discounts available when you you buy tickets for four or more educators.

Getting started with TOK is designed for first-time teachers of TOK, and any educator who wants to find out more about the course. We’ll look at the basics of TOK, course aims, how to keep your students on board, and few key tips to successfully oversee the assessment tasks. Find out more and register here.

TOK integration courses

Outline: we’re very much the experts on TOK integration. Our online workshops will give your DP teachers a comprehensive overview of TOK, demonstrate how they can draw on the course in a non-onerous way to enrich their lessons, help you to tie together all the strands of the DP, and encourage collaboration amongst your teachers.

Dates: Throughout 2022 – 2023. Cost: $195 per person. Workshop length: 2 x 90 minutes. Discounts available when you purchase three or more workshops, or if you buy tickets for four or more educators within any of the workshops.

TOK for Groups 1 & 2 online course is designed for literature teachers, TOK teachers, and DP coordinators. We’ll look at how to link Group 1 and 2 subjects to TOK, and enrich subject lessons via big ideas, thinkers, and the very latest real-world issues. When: July 2022. Find out more and register here.

TOK for Group 3 is designed for individuals & societies teachers, TOK teachers, and DP coordinators. We’ll look at how to link Group 3 subjects to TOK, and enrich subject lessons via big ideas, thinkers, and the very latest real-world issues. When: November 2022. Find out more and register here.

TOK for Group 4 is designed for experimental sciences teachers, TOK teachers, and DP coordinators. We’ll look at how to link Group 4 subjects to TOK, and enrich subject lessons via big ideas, thinkers, and the very latest real-world issues. When: December 2022. Find out more and register here.

TOK for Group 5 online workshop is designed for mathematics teachers, TOK teachers, and DP coordinators.
